​Atkinson & Co. has been serving business enterprises in the Southwest since 1970. During this time, the firm has developed a reputation for quality, reliability and personal service. As one of the largest locally owned New Mexico public accounting and consulting firms, Atkinson & Co. has an extensive tax, tax planning, accounting, auditing, and consulting practice. The firm also has very strong pension, estate, litigation support, and business consulting services.

Atkinson & Co. serves clients in a variety of industries, including construction, not-for-profit, medical, manufacturing and legal. The firm employs 54 professionals serving clients in New Mexico and surrounding states, including clients with operations in Mexico. Included in our practice is the Small Business Resource Group, a team of bookkeepers and CPAs designed to help our clients.

The firm is a member of the AICPA Peer Review Program and has received unqualified reports on all ten peer reviews conducted. The firm is also a past recipient of the New Mexico Ethics in Business Award.
Atkinson has made a decision to go paperless, utilizing technology to its fullest, to go Green! Some of the things the firm has put into practice to help the environment are:
